Guzhen Fair Concludes: AI Integration, Healthy Lighting and Green Transition Reshape Commercial Lighting

2026-10-28 · Industry News

The 35th China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) was held from 22 to 25 October in Guzhen, Zhongshan, Guangdong. Selected for MIIT's "National Consumer Brands Campaign", the fair ran under the theme "Guzhen Lighting, Lighting Up the World", with a total exhibition area of over 1.5 million square metres, more than 3,600 exhibiting companies and over 100,000 original products.

Three trends dominated the show floor: AI-integrated smart lighting, healthy lighting and green transition. AI lighting drew heavy foot traffic, with voice control and automatic sensor dimming becoming standard selling points. Healthy lighting focused on full-spectrum and circadian light that adjusts colour temperature and intensity for more comfortable environments. On the green front, the newly released mandatory national standard GB 30255-2026 on energy efficiency of indoor LED products, effective from September 2027, means energy compliance will be a must-plan issue for export-oriented manufacturers.

In commercial lighting, 48V low-voltage magnetic track systems have become the mainstream choice for high-end retail, restaurant and showroom renovations thanks to tool-free installation, flexible combination and multi-angle adjustment. Sensor-linked control, DALI dimming and project-level optical design further widen the quality gap among commercial lighting products.

As an LED downlight and spotlight manufacturer, KINXZO takes a clear signal from this fair: energy compliance, smart dimming and light quality now form the new threshold for commercial lighting going global. We will keep refining high-CRI, dimmable commercial lighting products in line with the new efficiency standard and overseas demand, delivering more reliable solutions for project clients worldwide.
